About HeartForce
At HeartForce™, we enable earlier, more precise, and accessible coronary artery disease (CAD) risk screening across all levels of care.
Our interdisciplinary team of physicians, engineers, data scientists, medtech experts, and entrepreneurs is reshaping cardiovascular prevention through science and innovation.
Pioneering the Future of Heart Health, One Milestone at a Time
From our earliest breakthroughs in cardiac performance monitoring to the development of our clinically validated EMCR Score™, every step of our journey reflects our commitment to saving lives through smarter, earlier CAD risk screening. These milestones represent more than progress, they mark the foundation of a global transformation in preventive heart care.

Our Founder’s Story
Beat Nägeli
In 2008, I experienced a heart attack unexpectedly despite regular check-ups, good health and no symptoms of coronary artery disease.
It shocked me, my family, and close friends. Thankfully, I survived.
Sadly, 30% of the people who suffer a heart attack do not. Coronary artery disease remains the number one silent killer globally.
We started HeartForce to make heart disease a concern of the past and to ensure no one loses a loved one too soon.
On behalf of HeartForce, I hope you will join us on this worthwhile journey.
Our Co-Founder’s Story
Kay Jessel
I was born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, and began my career in investment banking. On paper, everything looked perfect.
In 2006, my father died of a second heart attack. With high cholesterol combined with my family history, I suddenly understood how quietly cardiovascular risk can build. Statistics became personal.
In 2016, I decided to devote my work to one goal: fighting cardiovascular disease through early detection. That journey led me to HeartForce. Together with my partner and friend, Beat Naegeli, we transformed the company around a clear mission: to identify coronary artery disease earlier and give people time to act.
We developed the CardioClin™ System, an early evaluation test that uses our Electro-mechanical CAD Response Score (EMCR Score™) technology to identify individuals at risk—whether or not they have chest pain, breathing issues, or any symptoms at all.
For many, a fatal heart attack is still the first symptom. Our work is about changing that—so fewer families receive the call that changed mine. This journey began with loss, but it continues with a simple, deeply personal mission: give people a real chance to act before catastrophe strikes.
